  • BZ$ 151,084
  • (USD 75,000)
  • 3 bedrooms
Off-grid 3 bed 1 bath fully
furnished cabin on solar with a
cistern for drinking water. There
is a septic tank for plumbing
and the water for washing is
connected to the local town
water. There are filters for both
the cistern and the town water.
Water bill is very cheap. We are
a family of 5 and only spend $25
bzd a month which is 12.50 usd.
There is also a small monthly
HOA fee of $35 usd as well.
There`s a lawn mower, but if
you don`t mow there is a man
who you can pay to mow for a
low cost. There is a chicken
shed with 18 chickens out in the
back. We get about 4-6 eggs a
day right now, but they have
produced 8-12 in the past. The
house sits on 0.8 acre of land
which has 70 varieties of
mature fruit trees/plants;
several different bananas,
mangos, Jamaica limes, and
much more. The house is
located in a village called Los
Tambos 6 miles outside of the
nearest main town Spanish
Lookout where you will find your
groceries and such. There are 4
solar panels on 6 lithium
batteries with a 2000w inverter.
There may be a need for a
generator during rainy season,
but other than that, it has
powered most things we use
fine: laptop, tablets, blender,
fridge, washer, Crockpot, etc.
There is a battery powered
water heater hooked to the
propane. There`s also a gas
stove. We would be willing to
include our suv with the house if
interested. We are selling
because we are moving back to
the states for personal reasons.
If you`d like to live in a beautiful
tropical country where the cost
of living is very cheap and you
can grow your own food, this is
the place for you! Please feel
free to reach out if you have any
other questions.
